On July 21st 2017, Workstream 1 of CM-Path organised a workshop to discuss the impact of genomics in academic and diagnostic pathology. Key stakeholders from across the UK convened at the Medical Research Council to discuss the need for a change in the postgraduate pathology training programme to move towards a true morpho-molecular discipline. Throughout the day, delegates took part in breakout discussions that had been organised and chaired by trainee histopathologists:
- Dr Sarah Aitken, University of Cambridge
- Dr David Dorward, University of Edinburgh
- Dr David Moore, University of Leicester
- Dr Hayley Morris, University of Glasgow
- Dr Aislinn Stevens, Queens University Belfast
- Dr Caroline Young, University of Leeds
Download the agenda and delegate list here. Findings from the day will be further developed with CM-Path’s Workstream 1.
